We want to change three things from the original plan.
Three.
Yet it’s cost me over £400 for the pleasure and now we’re having to wait until 15 September for a decision.
On three things!
Simultaneously, I can decide to eat with a fork, put food in my mouth and chew. There are alternatives to this especially if you’re a primary school-aged child, then it would be: “A fork? No. Fingers are well-good. Food in mouth? Not if 72% of it can go on the floor and chew? It takes energy. Swallow.
£400 for three changes is hard to swallow. At the moment I’m chewing over whether the planning department is run by an eight year old. Probably not. If it was we’d have a decision in a minute and it would be signed in crayon.
On the upside I’ve been in touch with Russ, our builder.
This is a man I trust to build a good house. I know. I’m living in one he’s already built! He’s always busy so when he agreed to take on the project we were a bit worried it wouldn’t happen until 2030. As it is, he should be ready to start in the early autumn - if we get a decision from Planning, that is!
Hey, and today is my last day of Covid isolation! And we’re going camping!
Results come in all shapes and sizes - but at £400 they just take forever and the p***! 😠
