Can we help each other?

I started this site to record the next year or so as we build our own house. It's a lonely place but we can mutually support each other if we're in the same position. Everything from contracting a builder to first and second fixes - all these are mysterious to those of us new to the process.

So, can we help each other by passing on tips and advice?

My first question is: has anyone had any experience of piling for groundworks?
